This was only a matter of time. Jerry Lorenzo’s fashion brand Fear of God (FOG) has been making significant moves in the baseball world for the last few years. The Fear of God MLB hats have been a staple on everyone from top prospects to Hall of Fame legends. Earlier this year, the FOG X MLB All-Star capsule had every true baseball hypebeast trekking out to Lenox Square just trying cop something. And, if you’re really on the ground (like BBM), you would have notice a few youth team fully sponsored by FOG and looking fresh to death on the field.

This week, Fear of God announced a new multi-year partnership with MLB. According to the official FOG press release:
“The partnership marks a pivotal moment for the brand as it continues to bridge the worlds of sport and fashion.
The first installment of the partnership will bring to life team apparel from across MLB, beginning with iconic franchises including the Athletics, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, New York Yankees, Seattle Mariners and St. Louis Cardinals. Each piece is crafted through Fear of God Essentials signature silhouettes and with modern detailing, bringing the timeless spirit of the game to fan apparel.
“Baseball has always been the one constant in America. It reflects the times – where the country is, what the culture values, and how people come together,” explains Jerry Lorenzo. “It’s a mirror and a marker of American life, embodying both tradition and evolution.”
The inaugural campaign of Fear of God Essentials for MLB captures a snapshot of Picture Day, as seen through the lens of filmmaker and middle infielder Calmatic. A tribute to the culture, community and aesthetics that have informed both Fear of God and Jerry Lorenzo, it presents an immersion into the heart of the house while showcasing the new MLB collection.
The collection launched on FOG and Fanatics on September 10, with availability expanding to select retailers and stadium stores in the weeks to follow.
