Who are the best Black players that baseball fans should follow in 2025?
I love this question because it gives me the opportunity to talk about a few of the exciting Black players in baseball at every level. Contrary to the narrative that Black people don’t rock with baseball, that’s simply not true.
A lot of Black baseball fans have felt alienated from the game they grew up playing, and they are hard-pressed to name any Black star in the game today. That is where education comes in. Shout out to MLB Network. They are releasing their top 100 players in baseball right now. This is an excellent opportunity to educate those asking about some of the best Black players in the game.
The 100-90 list features two exciting young Black players #98 James Wood and #94 Maysn Winn. I talk more about these players in the video.
